Kris is a Bundjalung and Dhungatti man living on his grandfather's Nyangbal Country in Ballina.
He has photographed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander events across the country since 2018, and works with Koori Mail, the National NAIDOC Awards, Desert Pea Media, Sharing Stories Foundation, Supply Nation and National NAIDOC award winner The Salty One Art. In 2024 that work earned him a nomination for the Olive Cotton Award.
For clients that means one photographer across four kinds of work: families and portraits, festivals and events, real estate listings, and drone stills and 4K video, with every gallery edited and back within days. The rest of the time he is out on Country with the camera, which is where the coastal gallery comes from.

A project Kris made with Malachi and Jalurah, two young men talking in mother tongue on the beach, so the language can be heard and used on Country. Made for education, filmed the way Kris shoots everything: outdoors, in natural light, no fuss.
